中心主要功能与宗旨：
从研究中国企业信息化的实际问题出发，研究和推广应用最新的信息技术及其成果，集中企业信息化建设、企业管理、商务智能、知识管理等诸多领域的人力资源，为企事业单位特别是航空、航天企业的信息技术创新与应用、信息化建设提供技术支持和咨询服务，加强与国内外相关领域的学术交流，并在上述活动中培养信息技术与管理科学并重的综合性人才。为我国信息技术的创新与应用、高科技产业的发展研究、企业信息化建设贡献一份力量。
